Why Volunteer?

Volunteers power 98% of our club operations — and every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference.

When you volunteer at Woden Valley SC, you:

– Support young players to learn, grow, & enjoy the game
– Strengthen a welcoming, inclusive community
– Gain new skills and confidence
– Meet great people and give back locally
– Help keep football accessible and affordable for families

Hear from our WVSC Volunteers:

“Volunteering at WVSC makes you feel part of something bigger than just a team.”
– Jim, Former Volunteer

“I started volunteering because it was needed, and stayed because I enjoyed it.”
– Abbey, Volunteer

“Coaching at WVSC is about more than football — it’s about confidence and belonging.”
– Coach McRobie

“Seeing the kids smile after a game makes it all worthwhile.”
– Sam, Team Manager
