Developing high-performing girls outside NPLG, with performance environment training & opportunity.
About the Girls Youth Academy
The Woden Valley Soccer Club (WVSC) Girls Youth Academy Program (U14-U18) is designed for players who are aspiring to continue their football development, although not part of a current National Premier League Girls (NPLG) squad. Successful triallists will be high performing Division 1 players, as well as players who may have previously played NPLG.
Players will benefit from working with qualified and experienced coaches, including a full pre-season incorporating practice matches, intra-club days, and tournaments. Training will build on core skills: first touch, striking the ball, running with the ball and 1v1, plus opportunities for strength & conditioning, sport psychology, nutrition guidance, and additional small-group sessions under former pro guidance.
