Supporting the backbone of our teams — Organize. Coordinate. Communicate.

Team managers are the organisational backbone of WVSC teams. Your role ensures the smooth running of off-field matters—so that coaches can focus on training and players can focus on playing.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Communication: Serve as liaison between club, coach, parents & players; send updates, changes, match notices.
  • Organising Events: Team meetings, presentations, season-end events, parent nights.
  • Equipment Management: Jerseys, balls, training gear, cones, first aid kits.
  • Match Day Preparation: Rosters, match paperwork, field setup, team lineups.
  • Coach Support: Manage attendance lists, coordinate logistics, assist where needed.

Mandatory Requirements

To serve as a team manager at WVSC, the following are required:

  • Valid Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) card — Learn more / Apply
  • Completion of the club’s manager orientation / induction
  • Familiarity with club policies, codes of conduct, match day regulations
  • Access to required digital tools (Team App, Dribl, etc.)
