Team managers are the organisational backbone of WVSC teams. Your role ensures the smooth running of off-field matters—so that coaches can focus on training and players can focus on playing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Communication: Serve as liaison between club, coach, parents & players; send updates, changes, match notices.
- Organising Events: Team meetings, presentations, season-end events, parent nights.
- Equipment Management: Jerseys, balls, training gear, cones, first aid kits.
- Match Day Preparation: Rosters, match paperwork, field setup, team lineups.
- Coach Support: Manage attendance lists, coordinate logistics, assist where needed.

Mandatory Requirements
To serve as a team manager at WVSC, the following are required:
- Valid Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) card — Learn more / Apply
- Completion of the club’s manager orientation / induction
- Familiarity with club policies, codes of conduct, match day regulations
- Access to required digital tools (Team App, Dribl, etc.)
